Keep Pohgs Off Work Fund

I've been on a shopping sabbatical for the past 6 months now.. :(
I must say that I'm surprise at the amount of restraint and will-power I have for this cause. And what important dire cause can this be that has me giving up my daily cuppa at starbucks (mind you i still do indulge in it but no longer on a daily basis), my weekly sojurn to the foot massager & facial.. not to mention the impulse purchases of whimsical items that collects dust at the end of the day in a corner of my room..
It's called the 'Keep Pohgs off work' fund.. Lols, yeah that's right.. I've been working hard to put away a tidy sum.. building a pool of resources for me to live off so that i can take a break.
Am I nuts or what? Yupps, I've recently handed in my emancipation letter and will formally be relieved of my official duties come end Feb.. Of course, with that move it also means an end to the steady incoming income that so dutifully comes at the end of the month as payment to my slavery bondage to the coporate life.. :)
I still browse through the pages of local fashion & lifestyle mags for updates on the latest fashion and going-ons. And I still drool over the latest must have accessories and bags and shoes and clothes and.. the list goes on.
I've come up with a plan to write about those stuffs that i dream to own as though I've already gotten them.. teehee..
Btw, the fund's an open fund.. Fell free to donate or make a contribution if you may. But this is not tax deductible-mind you..

Haha.. My first posting..

The blogging phenomenon seems to be making a big comeback now.
First we had the craze of Multiply.com which was succeded by Facebook (and it's still a hot thingy to be on) and now the circle seems to have come a full circle.
I being a follower of the norm (so not to seem left out) have decided to jump on the bandwagon.
This looks to me like a good way to pen my thoughts and an additional avenue for venting of my frustrations.. lols..
